WRITING Good writing is like a painting or a sunset, washing over you like a sweet song. Like the scent of a rose with velvety soft petals, you can't wait to touch, to breathe it in. It takes you to places remembered, or yet discovered as you walk through the pages, mind wandering, soul filling. Writing. MBG
IRIS Bearded head held high, yellow tongue stretching out so, calls the bee to her. MBG
CREATIVE Imagination emerging, searching. Inside awaits the quintessence. A creative current, a closer look compelled. Maybe. MBG
GOSSAMER DREAMS I think how awesome it must be, to be the size of inch plus three. To fly, to laugh, to dance, to be, to wear the leaf and hide in the tree. To sing the songs of the wee Faerie. MBG
SUMMER MORNIINGS Waking slowly, eyes open then close, wondering what time it is. Birds are chirping, leaves are rustling. What day is it? Do I have to get up? Can I lay here waking slowly to the day ahead, wondering what I'll do? After what seems like half an hour, and surprisingly has only been a few minutes, I guess I'm awake enough to make coffee. I sit, sipping my coffee, aahhhhhh, how long can I sit here? The birds are busy, other people are busy. Do I have to get busy? What day is it? I'll have another cup, sip slowly and wonder what I'll eat for breakfast. Ah, summer mornings. MBG
MIDWEST Feed lots and what not, skulls hanging from the fence posts, wreckage in the draw. MBG
SLEEPLESS NIGHT Shadows fall and creep all across my window pane, hear the wind howl. MBG
ALMOST HOME Stripes on fields, lone trees, the cattle all in a line, smoke from the chimney. MBG

Gavillet I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree. *Joyce Kilmer Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. *Ralph Waldo Emerson I want freedom for the full expression of my personality. *Mahatma Gandhi Can't never did anything. *Mom
